Job Overview

The Processing Supervisor plays a key role in executing assigned processing tasks. This includes setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations including pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging processes while ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage production team of operators and technicians through training, performance evaluations, shift scheduling, and daily safety briefings to maintain optimal staffing and productivity.
• Oversee food safety and quality control by implementing HACCP procedures, coordinating with quality assurance teams, and managing product holds or recalls when quality issues arise.
• Optimize production efficiency by troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating maintenance activities, managing raw material inventory, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste and control costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate production records, enforcing sanitation standards, and preparing reports on production metrics, quality data, and safety incidents for management and regulatory agencies.
• Manage operational resources including production scheduling, utility usage monitoring, department budget oversight, and cross-functional communication with quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics departments.

Min. Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High School Diploma is required, associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years as a Processor in the dairy industry
