Exciting opportunities await for experienced Occupational Therapists interested in making a difference with preschool students in Lower Bucks County. This contract position supports Early Intervention and Extended School Year programs for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing invaluable services to children in the Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas. Beginning with part-time hours over the summer (about 15 per week), the position expands to a larger caseload during the school year as referrals are received.

Candidates must hold an active Occupational Therapy license in the state and bring at least one year of experience in a school-based pediatric setting. This role provides a fulfilling opportunity to impact early childhood development and collaborate with dedicated educators and families.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license, meeting all current state requirements
• Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience within a school setting (not open to new graduates)
• Familiarity with Early Intervention and preschool caseloads
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and students
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing caseload throughout the school year
• Previous experience with Extended School Year (ESY) services is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool students according to IEP/IFSP goals
• Support Early Intervention and Extended School Year programming
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely communication with educational teams and families
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary staff

This contract position follows the school calendar with tentative dates from early July 2026 through mid-June 2027. Initially part-time, this opportunity grows as referrals increase, allowing for flexible scheduling and meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.
