Travel Med Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with alternating weekends in a 3/2 split: 4 shifts one week, 3 shifts the next. Overtime after 48 hours.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical environment. Your expertise will help in managing a diverse patient population, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and health status while administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and rehabilitation processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical unit.
