Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in Fairfax County, VA. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in foreclosures, evictions, or title proceedings, with a strong desire to excel in these areas. The role requires effective communication, independent and team work capabilities, and exceptional customer service skills. Duties Oversee and manage high-volume statewide foreclosure matters. Ensure timely actions to expedite files. Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and other personnel. Manage files according to foreclosure rules and timelines. Utilize case management systems for reports and updates. Review and execute pleadings and correspondence. Present legal documents and argue cases at hearings. Conduct public auctions as needed. Review title searches for issues and proper parties. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, real estate, or related litigation. Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and relevant laws is a plus. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to travel as needed. Detail-oriented with strong task management skills. Proficiency in legal research and document drafting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. Skills Proficiency in legal research and writing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with case management systems.
