Archer Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to join our growing team in Farragut, Tennessee .

This is a sales-focused opportunity for a licensed Commercial Insurance professional who wants to spend their time producing new business—not servicing existing accounts. You'll have access to an established inbound commercial pipeline, cross-selling opportunities from our existing Personal Lines client base, marketing-generated leads, and a dedicated Commercial Service team that allows you to focus on sales.

What You'll Do

Commercial Insurance Sales

• Develop new Commercial Lines business through consultative selling.

• Manage the full sales process from prospecting through policy placement.

• Build and maintain relationships with business owners and referral partners.

• Cross-sell Commercial Insurance solutions to existing agency clients.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward production goals.

• Represent Archer Insurance Agency with professionalism and integrity.

Business Development

• Utilize agency-provided inbound commercial opportunities and marketing-generated leads.

• Develop additional business through networking and relationship building.

• Build long-term partnerships that support continued business growth.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with dedicated Commercial CSR and renewal support staff, allowing you to focus on new business production.

• Partner with agency leadership and service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $40,000–$60,000 , depending on experience.

• Uncapped commission structure.

• Successful producers have the opportunity to earn $150,000+ in total annual compensation during their first year. High-performing producers may exceed $200,000 annually , depending on individual production.

Qualifications

Required

• Active Tennessee Property & Casualty Insurance License .

• Minimum 2 years of Commercial Lines insurance production experience .

• Experience selling Commercial Insurance products such as:

  • Business Owners Policies (BOP)

  • General Liability

  • Commercial Auto

  • Workers' Compensation

  • Umbrella

• Comfortable managing your own sales pipeline while utilizing agency-provided opportunities.

• Willingness to work full-time in our Farragut office during onboarding and ramp-up.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills.

Preferred

• Independent agency or multi-carrier brokerage experience.

• Existing relationships with local business professionals, including CPAs, bankers, attorneys, real estate professionals, or other referral partners.

• Experience developing business through networking and referrals.
