Quality Control Inspection SupervisorRequired Skills & Experience* 3+ years of Quality Control Inspection supervisor experience supporting: ASME B31 piping codes Industrial or commercial construction projects (semiconductor preferred) Fabrication and welding inspections Non-destructive testing (NDT) • Experience inspecting specialty welding applications and plastic piping systems such as: • Polypropylene (PP) • Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Other specialty process piping materialsNice to Have Skills & Experience* AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or semiconductor construction projectsExperience inspecting carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-purity process piping systemsJob Description* Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component. • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records. • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes. • Engage with the General Contractor's Quality Assurance Manager for inspection planning, project compliance, non-conformance management, quality audits. • Provide project quality expectations to new inspectors. • Attend weekly project update meetings with the project group including upcoming activities, status and deadlines. • Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor. • Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures. • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management. • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities. Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.Rate: 70/hour
