Our people are our greatest asset, and we are always looking for talented individuals who share our values and want to grow with us.The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is a remote position responsible for managing and ensuring the timely completion of technical and operational projects supporting the Line-Item Projects Project Controls program. This role provides project controls expertise across cost analysis, planning, scheduling, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), while overseeing projects from initiation through completion. The position is primarily remote but may require occasional travel for DOE meetings and events.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage technical and operational projects, including project requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and execution.Support project scheduling using Primavera P6, including data quality checks, integration activities, and schedule analysis.Support project cost management using Cobra and EVMS processes, including cost analysis, control, forecasting, and identification of cost trends.Develop and maintain project controls processes and work products to meet programmatic and customer requirements.Provide technical cost and schedule guidance and develop innovative solutions for complex or non-routine project requirements.Collaborate with technical, business, and project stakeholders to ensure work is completed according to established objectives and schedules.Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management.Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings.Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with project controls, including cost analysis/control, planning, scheduling, and EVMS.Experience using Primavera P6 for project scheduling and schedule analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and take projects or concepts from initial ideas through completed deliverables.Strong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle confidential information with discretionPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Cobra for project cost management.Experience in project controls within a DOE/NNSA environment.Knowledge of LANL Project Controls procedures, policies, and processesExperience working with both technical and business stakeholders in complex projector program environments.What We Offer:Pay depending on experienceEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) -- giving employees a direct stake in the company's long-term success100% employer-paid Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD for all full-time employees; dependents can be added with payroll contributionsMedical coverage -- PPO or HDHP plan options; dependents can be added with payroll contributionsAbundant employer contribution for HSA enrolleesAccident, Critical Illness, and Voluntary Life InsuranceRobust PTO plan and 11 paid holidays per yearGenerous 401(k) with safe harbor program and up to 4% dollar-for-dollar match$1,500 yearly personal development reimbursement for all levels of employeesCorporate gym membership rates at Orangetheory FitnessVeteran Support -- Military Leave ProgramExcellent working environment with team building and bonding eventsHow to Apply:If you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications, please submit your resume, cover letter, and salary expectations via the APPLICATION portal.BGI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
