Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this onsite position, you’ll work with a small caseload—typically nine students—providing specialized instruction to help each child grow academically and socially. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies for individualized learning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse classroom settings and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational programs for DCD students
• Assess student progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure meaningful growth
• Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that fosters engagement
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with state and district requirements
• Manage the day-to-day activities of a classroom including organizing materials and routines
• Serve as an advocate for student needs both in and out of the classroom
