(USA) Area Manager - Maintenance Location: Edwardsville, IL Position Summary Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and in writing. Implement the business plan for your area by setting goals, managing staffing, scheduling, and assigning duties to achieve facility goals such as production quality and safety. Monitor and manage productivity through business reports, maintain quality and safety standards, train associates, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Identify and resolve customer or supplier concerns, supervise and develop associates, and manage the maintenance department’s daily operations, including the upkeep of warehouse equipment and building systems. Monitor financial aspects, track expenses versus budget, and prepare related reports. Responsibilities Communicate goals and manage staffing and scheduling to achieve facility objectives. Monitor and analyze productivity and business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards, ensuring associates are trained and compliant. Identify and address customer or supplier concerns. Supervise and develop associates and leaders, providing feedback and coaching. Manage maintenance operations for warehouse equipment and building systems, ensuring regulatory compliance. Track expenses, capital expenditures, and asset utilization against budget. Promote a culture of belonging and high performance. Act with integrity and serve customers and members by delivering results and making data‑driven decisions. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree or Technical School Certification in an industrial related field and 1 year related maintenance department supervisory experience; OR Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field; OR 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance related environment; OR 2 year Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months leading a work or project team; OR 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment with 1 year experience in the maintenance field. Required to attend and complete all job-required training and assessments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Compliance, General Maintenance, Microsoft Office, Refrigeration Equipment for Supermarkets, Supervising Associates, Warehouse Management Systems.
