Staff Accountant

Job Description Our client, an industry leader headquartered in Kansas City, is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a degreed accountant with a couple years of experience who is looking for more challenge and growth opportunity. Responsibilities: Perform various account reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Assist in the month-end close process Provide backup support for AR and AP Manage accounting communications Assist with financial statement audits and work directly with external auditors Interact with CFO, Accounting Supervisor, and other accounting staff on a daily basis Work on special projects Other accounting related duties as needed Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting 2+ years of professional work experience Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel Strong work ethic, and emphasis on attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr ALL Dimensions Search Group
