About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Health Plan Sales to lead the strategic growth of its health plan business. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and refining the sales strategy, building and managing a high-quality pipeline, and leading the sales process from initial engagement to contract close. This role demands a consultative, value-based approach, with a focus on connecting the company's clinical model to payer priorities such as member outcomes, engagement, affordability, quality, and total cost of care. The Vice President will be expected to develop compelling business cases, shape value-based commercial structures, and consistently meet or exceed new business revenue goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure that proposed solutions are clinically sound, operationally feasible, and positioned for successful implementation. Applicants for the Vice President, Health Plan Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree is a plus) and a minimum of 10 years' B2B healthcare sales or business development experience, with a strong background in selling to national or regional health plans. The role requires a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals, closing large, complex healthcare contracts, and a deep understanding of health plan priorities and commercial structures. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with health plan executives, the ability to translate clinical and analytical concepts into financial and strategic value, and a high level of proficiency in pipeline management and CRM tools, preferably Salesforce. Strong leadership, influence skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-stage environment are also key qualifications for this role.
