Corporate Transactional Senior Associate - M&A Experience Preferred

Our successful, entrepreneurial, and growing client firm in Morristown, New Jersey is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate with seven or more years of sophisticated law firm corporate transactional experience to join its expanding Corporate Practice Group. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and is looking for greater responsibility, broader transaction experience, and a long term platform for continued growth.

Associates work directly with partners and business owners, not through layers of hierarchy, and are actively involved in transactions from strategy through closing. Working closely with experienced corporate partners, you will represent entrepreneurs, founders, investors, and privately held companies in mergers and acquisitions, ownership restructurings, private equity transactions, commercial agreements, corporate governance matters, and other strategic business initiatives. You will draft and negotiate transaction documents, manage due diligence, coordinate closings, and advise clients on the legal and business issues that drive successful transactions.
The ideal candidate will have seven or more years of sophisticated corporate transactional law firm experience, including significant M&A work, operating and shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, and general corporate counseling. Compensation includes a base salary of $205K to $255K, plus a generous bonus opportunity and an excellent benefits package, including a 401(k), health and wellness benefits, firm sponsored meals, and additional employee benefits.
