Ability to correlate network events with business impacts. Experience analyzing logs, alarms, incidents, and performance metrics. Roles & Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Test Strategy Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies for telecom and networking applications. Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and network workflows to create effective test plans and testing approaches. Develop detailed test scenarios covering: Functional Testing Integration Testing Regression Testing System Testing End-to-End Testing User Acceptance Testing Support Test Design & Execution Design and execute positive, negative, boundary, and regression test cases. Validate telecom business workflows, OSS/BSS integrations, and service assurance processes. Perform manual and automated testing across multiple environments. Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results. Telecom & Network Assurance Validation Validate network monitoring and fault management systems. Test alarm generation, event correlation, event suppression, and incident management workflows. Simulate network failure scenarios, including: Link failures Router/Switch outages Circuit disruptions Bandwidth degradation Service-impacting incidents Verify fault detection, service impact analysis, root cause identification, and remediation processes. OSS/BSS & Integration Testing Validate integrations across: OSS Platforms BSS Platforms Service Assurance Systems Inventory Systems Provisioning Systems Ticketing Platforms Test integrations with platforms such as: ServiceNow BMC Remedy Monitoring and Event Management Systems Perform API validation for REST and SOAP services. Automation Testing Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites. Support CI/CD testing initiatives. Improve test coverage and reduce manual effort through automation. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into release pipelines. B2B Customer Journey Validation Validate customer-facing portals and operational workflows. Ensure accurate visibility of incidents, tickets, notifications, and SLA performance. Test end-to-end enterprise customer experiences during fault and restoration scenarios. Defect Management & Reporting Identify, analyze, document, and track defects through closure. Participate in defect triage and root cause analysis sessions. Provide daily and weekly quality reports highlighting: Test execution status Defect trends Quality risks Release readiness Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams, product owners, architects, and business analysts. Translate business requirements into measurable testing objectives. Communicate testing progress, risks, and recommendations to project stakeholders. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or related field. Equivalent telecom service assurance/testing leadership experience may be considered.
