Registered Nurse (RN) (2nd shift)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our growing team! This position is for 2nd shift (3:00 pm- 11:00 pm) with shift differentials offered. As a Registered Nurse with ARC, you will work in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment helping individuals overcome substance abuse addiction. The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the System of Care, responsible for ensuring the safety and well‑being of clients as they go through the rehabilitation process and has the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Key Responsibilities Conduct Nursing Assessments and monitor clients. Member of the Treatment Team. Handle medication management; train staff on medication dispensing. Ensure universal precautions of the center. Facilitate health education groups including general health education and medication/drug interactions. Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow the prescribed course of treatment. Determine and implement specific protocols as designated by the Doctor. Protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with ARC’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law. Maintain respectful relationships with clients. Maintain confidentiality at all times, displaying a professional disposition toward fellow staff. Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike. Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise. Interact with a multidisciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program related to physical health. Communicate with the Case Manager and assist in ensuring the safety of the client. Adapt to schedule changes and assume responsibilities not delineated in the job description as a member of an addiction treatment team. Interact with staff and clients in a professional manner. Coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Prioritize work and work‑related responsibilities. Be computer literate with experience in a Windows environment. Key Experience and Education Needed Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky. Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred. Substance abuse experience preferred.
