Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their nationally recognized team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a state-of-the-art, 383-bed facility, serving a diverse patient population. Practice Info Garnet Health Medical Center is the only hospital in Orange County, NY, to earn Magnet redesignation for nursing excellence. The facility is a 383-bed hospital. Case assignments include Endo, general, ortho, labor and delivery, radiology, URO, vascular, GYN, ENT, neuro, and plastics. The care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $550,000 Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100,000 Option to become a distribution pool participant after 1 year Benefits Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts / Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit-sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule 8 weeks PTO Requirements M.D./D.O.
