We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, reliable, and personable Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Midlothian, VA. We offer competitive pay and an attractive benefit package. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, possess a high attention to detail, and truly enjoy providing superior service to external and internal customers. Key Responsibilities: Prepare bi-weekly payroll to include accurate time sheet review and entry of data into the payroll system Maintain timely, complete, and accurate records in HRIS system, QuickBooks, and proprietary software Responsible for company wide absence tracking and reporting Perform administrative processing of new hires, employee changes, and terminations Maintain the administration of the electronic time keeping system, including set up of new employees and assistance with employee questions Monitors employee eligibility of benefit plans and assists employees with enrollments, changes, or termination from plans Reviews benefit billing for accuracy and performs monthly reconciliations Perform administrative tasks accurately to include data entry, filing, maintaining records, and running reports Fulfill other clerical and administrative duties, as needed Qualifications 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably for 50+ employees Knowledge of recent versions of QuickBooks preferred Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn new software Experience with Dominion Payroll is desired Benefits Offered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) Paid holidays Paid time off A background check will be conducted prior to hire date.
