Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients, taking into account their medical history, current concerns, and psychosocial factors that may impact their overall well-being.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on both mental health support and addressing the emotional ramifications of end-of-life issues.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy, delivering these services via telehealth platforms to clients in various locations.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions and group therapy sessions, promoting emotional resilience, coping strategies, and adjustment to both anticipated and experienced loss.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and palliative care specialists, to ensure a well-rounded approach to client care and treatment coordination.

• Participate in crisis intervention for clients facing acute emotional distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and securing necessary referrals for higher levels of care when needed.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping mechanisms, empowering them to utilize available resources and support systems effectively.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously to comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Nevada is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
