Job Details:
PurposeProvide custodial services for Applied Research Laboratories.
Responsibilities-
Clean, sweep, mop, dust and scrub tile work and floors, stairways, hallways, restrooms, offices and labs.
Wax and polish floors.
Cleaning up after lab events.
Move furniture and equipment.
Other related functions as assigned.

Six months of experience in custodial maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain a professional demeanor, work as a team member and effectively communicate with all groups of clients.
The employee must be able to accommodate a work scheduleof 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Able to accept supervision.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Will be working in a restricted area and applicant selected may be subject to appropriate security measures.
Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
US Citizen. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position.
General NotesApplicant selected for this position MUST be able to work a standard shift of 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM.

$38,480-$39,000+/negotiable depending on qualifications.

Use of manual dexterity.
Climbing of stairs.
Lifting and moving.
Frequent use of broom/mop/buffing machine.
Job is performed while walking and standing most of the time.
Bending and lifting required.
Working with cleaning materials/solutions on a daily basis.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
