Collections Representative
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the payment collection process, the full-time Collections Representative will coordinate communication with policyholders and agents regarding premium and deductible collections while working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Communicates with agents, debtors, and collection agencies to expedite the collection of premiums and deductibles Initiates collection calls and explains amounts owed to policyholders and agents Maintains account status and processes payments, ensuring prompt collection and customer service Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; some college education in business management, insurance, or finance preferred Two to three years of related collections and customer service experience preferred Working knowledge of collections practices and basic insurance policy principles Ability to analyze financial information and make decisions for resolving disputes Experience in preparing documentation for legal proceedings related to collections
