Senior Accountant

Woburn, MA | $85,000–$100,000 Base KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a growing organization in the Woburn area to identify a Senior Accountant to join its Accounting & Finance team. This is a hands‑on opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys having broad exposure across the finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will play a key role in the monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and process improvement initiatives while gaining direct exposure to executive leadership. What You’ll Do Lead key components of the monthly close process, including financial statements, supporting schedules, journal entries, and account reconciliations Compile and analyze financial data and prepare management and executive reporting Assist with annual budgeting, external audits, and company reporting requirements Manage accounts payable, customer receipts, monthly and quarterly invoicing, and revenue reporting Process bi‑monthly payroll through ADP Workforce Now Partner directly with the CFO on special projects, workflow improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis Provide backup and accounting support across the broader finance team Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of accounting processes What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of hands‑on accounting experience Strong experience with monthly close and account reconciliations Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookups Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Self‑starter who can work independently while partnering effectively across the organization Strong written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
