Electrophysiology Lab RN

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with variations as needed based on procedure completion.

Job Description: The Electrophysiology Lab RN will provide high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting, specializing in electrophysiology. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in various EP Lab procedures and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist in cardiovascular interventions, including cardioversion and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Perform essential technical skills such as obtaining 12-lead EKGs and activated clotting time (ACT) assessments.
• Administer emergency medications and manage dysrhythmias effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in an electrophysiology lab setting.
• Valid RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Radiation badge provided by the agency.
