Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions in a high-acuity environment.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float as needed to various UCSF facilities and departments including TCU, ED, and PACU.
• Document patient care in the EPIC system and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection prevention measures in all patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Active California RN License and BSN required.
• Minimum of 2.5 years of ICU experience; prior float pool experience preferred.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, and advanced critical care devices.
• NIHSS certification preferred for comprehensive stroke management.
• Adaptability to float to various departments and manage diverse patient diagnoses.
