About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Advancement to serve as its chief development officer, with a focus on creating a high-caliber advancement program that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of the next comprehensive capital campaign and must be an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking professional in the field of advancement. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the institution and requires a leader who can bring focus, momentum, and leadership to the program, as well as build strong, trust-based relationships both within the institution and with external stakeholders. The ideal Vice President for Advancement will be a key partner to the Board of Trustees and colleagues across the institution, and will be expected to have a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of higher education advancement. The role demands a leader with the highest integrity, who can effectively communicate, and who is adept at creating a team culture where members enjoy their work and each other. The candidate should be prepared to see fundraising as mission-driven work, grounded in relationships, and be committed to the values of the organization. A background in immersive, personalized, and professional education, as well as a strong commitment to student success, is essential.
