Inside Sales Representative

Randstad is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Inside Sales Representative for a premier Temp-to-Hire career path with our client in Deerfield Beach. This nationwide industry leader is North America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior/interior building materials.

Operating out of a highly active branch specializing in Windows and Doors, this role serves as the critical hub connecting local building contractors, remodelers, and commercial builders with the specific materials they need to get the job done. Location: Deerfield Beach, FL Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (Determined by experience; flexibility to exceed slightly for highly qualified candidates) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Full-Time, 40 hours/week) Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–3 years of inside sales, commercial retail sales, or customer account management experience.
• Industry Knowledge (Highly Valued): Previous exposure to building materials, construction sites, blueprinted materials, or specialized experience in Windows and Doors is highly preferred.
• Communication & Tech Skills: Top-tier interpersonal communication and phone etiquette. Must be comfortable navigating inventory systems, databases, and general computer tools.
• Drive & Reliability: time-management skills to handle a high volume of orders during peak morning hours. Strict reliability for the 7:00 a.m. start time is required.
• Language: skills (English/Spanish) are highly valued for the South Florida construction market.

Responsibilities

• Drive Branch Sales: Partner directly with local contractors and builders to determine their project needs, recommend appropriate product lines, and execute quotes/sales.
• Order Management & Invoicing: Input sales orders accurately into the company system, handle payment processing, and manage billing accounts.
• Up-Selling & Cross-Selling: Actively follow standard product checklists to recommend the necessary hardware, framing, and tools to complement client window and door orders.
• Logistics Coordination: Work hand-in-hand with the warehouse and delivery dispatch teams to schedule order pickups, coordinate flatbed/freight deliveries, and follow up to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Account Relationship Management: Build deep, trusting relationships with existing contractor accounts while seamlessly resolving any service or product concerns that arise.
