Looking for a steady, full-time warehouse job with a Monday–Friday schedule?
Marine Equipment & Supply Company (MESCO) is hiring a Warehouse Receiver to join our team in Thorofare, NJ.
This is a hands-on warehouse position where you'll receive incoming shipments, check merchandise for accuracy and damage, label and organize products, and help keep our warehouse running smoothly.
Previous warehouse experience is helpful, but we are willing to train a dependable person who is ready to learn.
What You'll Do
- Receive and inspect incoming freight and ground shipments
- Count cartons and verify incoming merchandise
- Check shipments for visible damage or discrepancies
- Break down shipments and organize merchandise by warehouse zone
- Label merchandise and prepare it for movement into the warehouse
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments
- Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with picking, packing, loading, and other warehouse duties as needed
- Help load delivery trucks when assigned
- Operate a walk-behind electric pallet jack after training and authorization
- Follow company safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Warehouse, receiving, shipping, stocking, or similar experience is preferred but not required
- Dependable and reliable
- Good attention to detail
- Able to accurately count and verify merchandise
- Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment
- Basic reading, writing, communication, and math skills
- Willing to work as part of a team and help in different areas when needed
- Electric pallet jack experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
This is an active warehouse position. You must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, crouch, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Safely handle and move merchandise throughout the workday
Schedule
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Full-Time
Specific hours may vary depending on the assigned shift.
