Job Summary

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in San Juan, PR within the telecommunications services industry. This role is ideal for an early-career recruiting professional who enjoys connecting with candidates, supporting hiring managers, and helping build strong teams.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will serve as an important first point of contact for future employees while representing the organization’s values and culture throughout the recruitment process. This is a high-impact opportunity to support local and regional hiring needs, contribute to talent acquisition improvement projects, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work with supportive leaders, collaborate with a positive HR and recruiting team, and develop your skills in candidate screening, interviewing, sourcing, and recruiting strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage recruitment activities for local and regional openings, including candidate screening, interviewing, and selection support.
- Serve as the first point of contact for candidates and provide a professional, engaging candidate experience.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and evaluate candidate alignment with role requirements and company culture.
- Partner with hiring stakeholders to understand staffing needs and support timely position fulfillment.
- Participate in projects that support continuous improvement of the talent acquisition strategy.
- Represent organizational values throughout the recruitment process and help identify strong cultural fit.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.
- Location: San Juan, PR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned local and regional positions.
- Conduct candidate screening, competency interviews, and recruitment follow-up.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support hiring needs and improve recruiting processes.
- Contribute to talent acquisition projects focused on continuous improvement.

- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Experience screening candidates and conducting interviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to represent the organization professionally to candidates.
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications, motivation, and cultural alignment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with hiring teams and HR partners.
- Interest in talent acquisition strategy, process improvement, and candidate experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience recruiting within telecommunications, customer service, sales, technical, or corporate support roles.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, candidate databases, or sourcing platforms.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in a local and regional recruiting environment.
- Prior experience supporting high-volume or multi-location recruiting needs.
