Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with standards of care and the nursing process.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret assessment data to identify diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement an individualized care plan; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the treatment team; provide health information and education.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions.

Requirements

• Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California).
• Certifications: CPR/BLS required; ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• Education: BSN preferred.
• Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience; ICU/acute care experience preferred.
• General: Ability to work night shifts in an ICU setting.
