Human Resources Assistant

Job Title
Support daily Human Resources and operational functions within a clinical research environment.
Assist with onboarding activities, scheduling, employee communications, and maintaining employee records and documentation.
Perform office administrative duties including filing, scanning, ordering supplies, maintaining office organization, and coordinating office logistics.
Assist with office runs, errands, and operational support tasks as needed.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, conference rooms, and internal team communications.
Provide professional communication and support to employees, vendors, clients, visitors, and external partners.
Assist with company events, wellness initiatives, employee engagement activities, and special projects.
Maintain confidentiality of employee, operational, and company information.
Collaborate with members of the Human Resources and Operations teams to support organizational initiatives and day-to-day business needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Experience in healthcare, clinical research, or other regulated environments.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems (preferably Workday).
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional environment.
The noise level in this work environment is usually light to moderate.
Physical Demands
- The employee will regularly use hands to reach, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk and hear.
- The employee may frequently stand, walk and sit.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel: This position will involve some local travel.
Pre-Employment Screening: Drug screen and background check required.
