Job Description Job description Tool and die repair for progressive stamping operations Work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, or samples Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand the specifications of the output Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job Perform routine repair minor damages Die tooling and sharpening Maintain good housekeeping in work area Candidate Requirements Must be able to sharpen and reset forms Experience in using and programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (mainly presses) Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurementsAbility to read drawings and manuals Strength to lift heavy items if needed Ability to follow clear directions Self-disciplined and able to work with minimum supervision Why work at Monroe Tool and Die Easy going Culture Medical / Dental / Vision Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Weekly 401(k) 40‑Hour Workweek (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) Highly regarded small Tool and Die Company with 60 years experience, MTD is a full service and sophisticated contract manufacturer with the capacity to do both small scale prototypes as well as large volume manufacturing with precision and efficiency.
