Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Rheumatologist to become part of our Internal Medicine team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic consultation service at our medical center and outpatient clinics.
• Provide both outpatient and inpatient care at the Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
• Share inpatient service responsibilities among physicians, with plans to expand our division to lessen individual call requirements.
• Collaborate with excellent support staff for prior authorization tasks and work alongside a nurse practitioner in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and scholarly activities.
• Willingness to engage with fellows, residents, and students on a weekly basis.
• Experience or interest in clinical trials and health services research.

Working Conditions

The Division of Rheumatology currently consists of 5.5 faculty members, with plans to expand to 9 full-time positions. We prioritize faculty development and physician wellness, offering various programs such as:

Our faculty engage in various centers, including those focused on Arthritis, Lupus, Scleroderma, Myositis, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Vasculitis, and Bone Health and Osteoporosis. All sites are equipped with ultrasound machines for musculoskeletal, vasculitis, parotid, and lung ultrasound procedures.

Our organization is affiliated with a leading medical center that serves as the largest tertiary referral source in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, catering to a population of nearly 4 million.
