Leading a team of underwriters, the full-time Ohio Licensed Underwriting Manager will manage medium-touch and high-touch new and renewal business, ensuring sound underwriting decisions while collaborating with operations and territory leaders in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Oversees a team of underwriters, managing productivity and balancing workloads for effective risk decision-making Handles underwriting referrals beyond team members' authority, exercising underwriting authority to ensure quality risk selection Coaches and mentors team members, enhancing their underwriting acumen and driving business development practices Required qualifications 6+ years of Commercial Lines Underwriting experience Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Preferred Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter certification Preferred Property and Casualty Insurance License
