About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Sales & Service to take on a pivotal role in the revenue execution of a major premium seating program. This position is responsible for the full accountability of a significant number of premium seats across a multi-year pre-opening cycle, with a focus on building and leading a team to meet and exceed revenue targets. The successful candidate will be tasked with owning the strategic business plan for premium seating revenue, leading the conversion strategy, and managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract execution. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and developing a high-performing sales team, setting and maintaining sales standards, and aligning with leadership on a single revenue plan. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in premium seating and ticketing sales, financial acumen, and the ability to sell a vision, particularly in the context of a venue that is yet to be constructed. Applicants for the Vice President, Sales & Service role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of sales leadership experience in premium seating and ticketing, with a strong background in meeting multi-million dollar revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a history of success in hiring, developing, and retaining sales teams, as well as a command of consultative, solution-selling methodology. Financial acumen, the ability to work with CRM systems, and a Bachelor's degree are required, with a preference for those with experience in professional sports or major entertainment venues. The role demands a leader who can align and connect across organizations, set and scale standards, and earn wins under pressure. The work environment is dynamic, with a need for flexibility in travel and availability, and the role is critical in setting the commercial performance standards for the venue for decades to come.
