Project Accountant

Prepare and submit monthly AIA G702/G703 pay applications. Maintain and update Schedules of Values (SOV) and process progress billings. Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure accurate percent-complete billing. Track and process change orders, retainage, and contract modifications. Monitor project accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies. Prepare and track conditional and unconditional lien waivers. Maintain accurate job cost records and support project profitability reporting. Assist with month-end close, project reconciliations, and financial reporting. Process project accounting transactions in QuickBooks or similar construction accounting software. Ensure billing complies with contract terms and owner/GC requirements. Qualifications 3+ years of Project Accounting experience within the construction industry. Hands-on experience preparing AIA G702/G703 pay applications. Strong knowledge of progress billing, Schedule of Values (SOV), retainage, change orders, and job costing. Experience working for a subcontractor (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or similar) is highly preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks or other construction accounting software. Strong Excel skills with excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
