Production Supervisor

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor in Knoxville, TN area!

• Adhere to and enforce all workplace safety rules, regulations, and practices.
• Process any workplace injuries/incidents in a timely manner per the Incident Reporting and Investigation Guidelines.
• Comply with all food safety, security, and quality requirements.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean, in good condition, and in compliance with USDA established sanitation requirements.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all representatives of federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Assist with maintaining third-party certifications such as BRC.
• Promote and maintain a high level of morale among employees.
• Enforce Guidelines of Conduct, Attendance Policy, and Values in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
• Assign and schedule team members efficiently to meet production requirements.
• Assist in selection, orientation, and training of new team members.
• Participate in external and internal training programs.

• Food Science/Food Technologist degree preferred
• 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• SQF & HACCP certified
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with different departments within the organization
• Creative/analytical problem solving skills and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems
• Team building skills and experience
• Microsoft office skills such as PowerPoint, Project Manager, Excel and Word
• Demonstrated experience in managing plant sanitation programs
