Job Description And Duties The Office Technician-Typing (OT) is the advanced journey level, which regularly performs a variety of the most difficult duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in performing assigned tasks. Under the direction of a designated supervisor, the OT functions as clerical support to an assigned area. This general office work includes typing, document handling, written and oral communication, statistical and other record‑keeping functions. A high degree of accuracy, initiative and confidentiality will be expected in this position. Knowledge of computers is important, but ability to learn is vital.
