Job Details Job Location: Brainerd, MN 56401 Position Type: Seasonal Full-Time Salary Range: $14.00 - $15.00 Hourly Overview Madden's is an award‑winning resort located on more than 1,000 acres. Responsibilities Answer all incoming phone calls in a polite, business‑like manner. Handle guest questions, comments, and concerns efficiently. Process online and conference reservations accurately. Respond to all e‑mail and instant message inquiries politely, with thorough and accurate information. Make restaurant reservations, coordinate tee times, spa appointments, and other arrangements guests request; refer large parties to the appropriate manager. Meet sales goals set by management. Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, and availability. Use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other services. Process reports as assigned by management. Perform accurate cash handling and credit control. Operate the Property Management System and Microsoft Office applications. Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the designated manager. Retain knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Understand that business demands may result in different shift patterns. Perform all other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Organized, great communication, decisive and flexible. Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills. Great decision‑making skills. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment Work is performed at a desk. Physical Demands Primarily stationary and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear both in person and by telephone. Expected Hours of Work 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends. Travel Less than 10% travel required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
