Key Responsibilities

As the Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine the best course of treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, employing various therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Utilize assessment tools to track patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on rehabilitation processes, home exercise programs, and proper equipment usage for self-care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, responses to interventions, and modifications to treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to refine therapeutic goals and participate in case discussions that further enhance patient care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education workshops, attending relevant seminars, and engaging with professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from orthopedic conditions such as fractures, sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

The candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
