Senior Solutions Engineer - Eastern or Central Time Zone

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer - Eastern or Central Time Zone based in United States.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a strategic and consultative technical partner throughout complex enterprise sales cycles. You will combine deep product expertise with customer-facing discovery, demonstrations, technical evaluations, and value-based selling. Working closely with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams, you will help translate customer challenges into effective technology solutions and compelling business cases. You will engage with executive, academic, and technical stakeholders to understand workflows, integrations, requirements, and desired outcomes. The role also provides an important voice of the customer, bringing market feedback and product insights back to internal teams. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced pre-sales professional who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating across a global organization.

• Serve as a customer-facing technical subject matter expert for integrity and assessment products throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Partner strategically with Sales teams to support opportunities, develop deal strategies, refine customer messaging, and advance revenue-generating initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver tailored product overviews, technical demonstrations, workflow discussions, and presentations for prospective and existing education customers.
• Conduct technical discovery with stakeholders, including senior technology leaders, administrators, and academic decision-makers, to understand requirements, workflows, technical constraints, and desired future-state solutions.
• Respond to technical product questions and support Sales teams with customer inquiries throughout the sales process.
• Advise on technical, integration, and product-related aspects of RFP and RFI responses.
• Develop compelling business cases and value-focused presentations that connect product capabilities with customer challenges and business outcomes.
• Manage customer trials, pilots, technical evaluations, and Proofs of Concept, establishing clear evaluation criteria and supporting successful outcomes.
• Support workflow and integration discussions, including the assessment of customer environments and technical requirements.
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback, competitive intelligence, feature requests, and market insights for Product, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to product and feature launches and other cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to the continued development and scalability of the Solutions Engineering organization.
• Promote a collaborative, growth-oriented environment and contribute to continuous improvement across global go-to-market teams.
• Flex working hours as needed to collaborate effectively across global time zones.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role, ideally within EdTech or Enterprise SaaS.
• Strong consultative selling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to executive, academic, business, and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical evaluations, Proofs of Concept, pilots, and RFP responses within complex sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of customer workflows and the ability to conduct technical discovery, gather requirements, identify constraints, and support customer change management.
• Experience working with complex software integrations and enterprise technology environments.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standards, and REST APIs is a plus.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to work through complex customer and technical challenges.
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value and customer outcomes.
• Flexible, collaborative, and humble approach, with a focus on customer success and shared business goals.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, low-ego, globally distributed environment.
• Willingness to regularly adjust working hours to support collaboration across global time zones.
