Job Description
Title: Respiratory Therapist

Schedule: Nights 7p-7a

Assignment Details:
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support certification
- National Board of Respiratory Care certification
- Experience in respiratory therapy modalities

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform arterial blood gas analysis and patient assessments.
- Manage mechanical ventilators and conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Administer various respiratory therapies and ensure thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Conduct patient and family education regarding respiratory care and treatments.
- Participate in rounds and respond to emergency situations as necessary.

Compliance / Notes:
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
