We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This full-time permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing state-of-the-art machinery in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be a vital part of our team, creating high-quality, precision parts and components that are integral to our product line and essential to our company's success. Responsibilities: Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, ensuring tight tolerances are consistently met. Interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the best method and sequence of operations. Use precision measurement tools to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts, ensuring they meet exact specifications. Perform grinding operations to achieve desired dimensions and surface finish. Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, calculating and setting controls to regulate various machining factors. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tooling, performing routine maintenance as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient production environment. Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize productivity and improve manufacturing processes. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with 5-axis machines. Proficient in precision machining, with a strong understanding of tight tolerances and the use of precision measurement tools. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications. Experience with grinding operations and the selection and installation of tooling and fixtures. Solid understanding of CNC machine setup and operation, with the ability to calculate and set controls for a variety of machining factors. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tooling. Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, precision parts and components. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
