This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close activities, preparing financial reports, and assisting with the accounting functions across a diverse real estate portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain exposure to real‑estate investment, development, and property accounting while working in a collaborative and growth‑oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger activity. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records. Assist with preparing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Record accruals, prepaid expenses, and other recurring accounting transactions. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed. Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances. Assist with accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects. Prepare documentation for annual audits and tax reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Perform additional accounting and finance projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–4 years of accounting experience Real‐estate, construction, or property accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP Excellent Excel skills Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP preferred Strong analytical and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication skills CPA or CPA‑track is a plus Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
