RN/LPN Extended Hours - Weekend Part-Time

Columbus, OH, US Position Overview We are looking for compassionate and dedicated RNs/LPNs to provide exceptional hospice care during extended weekend hours. This position is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about supporting patients and families and helping them navigate the end-of-life journey with comfort, dignity, and compassion. Schedule & Service Area Saturday and Sunday

6:00 AM–6:00 PM

Driving position serving patients throughout Columbus Must be comfortable driving in varying weather and road conditions Weekend availability is required Key Responsibilities Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation. Assess patient needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. Provide compassionate care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Maintain professional nursing standards and follow hospice care practices. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient and family needs. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active Ohio RN or LPN license in good standing with no current board actions. BSN preferred for RN candidates. Two years of acute-care nursing experience preferred. Current CPR certification. Hospice and Palliative Care certification (CHPN) preferred. Certification opportunities and support are available to Ohio's Hospice employees. Computer skills sufficient to accurately document patient care and services. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Ability to maintain the state's minimum required automobile insurance coverage. Ability to drive during daytime hours and in inclement weather. Successful completion of a criminal background check.
