Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) 7p-7a
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing community dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. As an RN/LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to assigned patients, assisting with the daily management of their nursing needs, and overseeing direct care staff.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide basic patient care and treatment
Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
Educate and update residents on medical treatments
Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
Requirements:
Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields preferred, but newly licensed encouraged to apply
Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
Ability to build rapport with residents and teammates
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Passion for working with the geriatric population
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
