Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of familial dynamics to identify communication barriers and underlying issues. Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, applying evidence-based treatment approaches to address specific concerns. Assist clients in exploring their grievances and emotional challenges, allowing for deeper insights and healing processes. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address both individual and group needs. Provide expert testimony in legal matters when necessary, ensuring accurate and informed representation. Formulate detailed clinical reports to support continued client care and serve as documentation for legal proceedings. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to remain current with therapeutic practices and interventions. Promote stability within clients' home and educational environments by offering practical strategies and resources. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LMFT at Greystone Counseling Center, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families facing varying levels of psychological and relational challenges. Our clients range from those grappling with grief and trauma to couples navigating communication issues and families experiencing conflict. Your skills will be vital in offering compassionate support and fostering resilience among our clients as they work towards improved mental health. Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid and current LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania. A minimum of one year of supervised clinical experience as mandated by state regulations. Expertise in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families using recognized therapeutic techniques. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively address complex mental health issues. Ability to create and manage tailored treatment plans that reflect clients' needs and goals. Preferred Experience Experience in working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices. Previous involvement in legal cases requiring expert testimony is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
