Work Environment

This role is positioned in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Alexandria, VA, where you will work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals. As a full-time clinician, you will typically work Monday to Friday with a 40-hour shift, focusing solely on onsite patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical capabilities and limitations to create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and document prescribed therapeutic programs, utilizing various modalities and manual techniques to address a wide range of conditions.
• Maintain clear communication with patients regarding their progress and treatment goals while providing education and training for patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, ensuring that all therapies align with the physician's prescribed plan of care.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients and ensuring their needs are met throughout their therapy sessions.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and actively contribute to the overall effectiveness of the rehabilitation team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapy services provided at our center cater to a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric complications, neurological disorders, and sports-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Must possess a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Compensation and Benefits

Your expertise and commitment to excellence will be rewarded with a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000–100,000 annually, alongside an extensive benefits package.
