Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Staff Accountant with prior banking experience. The candidate is able to work either in Irvine or Los Angeles. This position is hybrid.Responsibilities:Daily:

• Process approved accounts payable
• Reconcile PCBB and Fed
• Gather daily invoices received via email/mail and code for approval
• Prepare/input journal entries

Weekly:

• Review expense GL accounts for accuracy

Monthly:

• GL monthly certifications
• Prepare/input journal entries for payroll and accruals
• Payroll backup (Paycom)

Skills

• A minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience
• Fiserv/Prologue preferred, but not required
• Good general banking experience highly recommended

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
