TIG Welder (Stainless Steel)
Location: East side of Orlando
Pay: $22-26 (Based on Experience)
Shift: 1st Monday - Thursday 4 10hr shifts
Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a growing fabrication team. This position focuses on precision TIG welding of stainless steel sheet metal and piping used in custom fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working from blueprints, performing high-quality welds on thin-gauge stainless steel, and operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel sheet metal and piping
• Weld various stainless materials including 12 and 14-gauge sheet metal
• Use gas purge techniques when required to ensure weld quality
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for fabrication
• Measure and inspect components to ensure quality and tolerances are met
• Grind, finish, and contour welds as needed
• Assist with troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives
• Complete routine preventative maintenance on welding equipment

Qualifications
Required:

• Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience
• Experience welding stainless steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards

Preferred:

• Fabrication experience
• Sheet metal experience
• Experience welding stainless steel pipe
• Knowledge of gas purge welding techniques
• Previous experience in a custom manufacturing or fabrication environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oviedo, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
