Laboratory Specimen Processor

Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Specimen Processor in Burlington, North Carolina to prepare, identify, and route biological specimens for testing. The role operates on a night shift (11 pm–7:30 am, Monday–Friday) and involves data entry, packing, and shipping specimens to testing facilities while meeting production goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to appropriate staging areas
- Unpack, identify, label, and pack specimens; document any issues
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
- Meet department activity and production goals within established timeframes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking capability
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime or alternative shifts as needed
