Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantWe are partnering with a growing, multi-location organization in the Irving area seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule after the initial training period.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and supporting accounting across multiple operating locations. This position will also partner with operations to research and resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly journal entries and support month-end closeComplete detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliationsPerform income statement and balance sheet variance analysisResearch and resolve reconciling items across multiple locationsSupport fixed asset accounting and related schedulesAssist with financial reporting and process improvementsSupport internal and external audit requestsMaintain accurate supporting documentation and ensure GAAP compliancePartner cross-functionally with operations to resolve accounting discrepanciesIdentify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve accounting workflowsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required4+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experienceExperience working within a multi-entity or multi-location environmentERP experience required; NetSuite strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUPFixed asset experience is a plusExperience supporting audits and financial reportingStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skillsDetailsTemp-to-hireIrving, TXInitial onsite training period with hybrid flexibility thereafterMonday–Friday, approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Some flexibility)Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per yearEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply
