The Deputy Attorney General – Data Privacy & ID Theft
The Deputy Attorney General – Data Privacy & ID Theft position handles legal representation for the State of Indiana and consumers in cases involving age verification, data breaches, identity theft, fraud, and credit reporting violations. The role reports to the Section Chief of the Data Privacy ID Theft Unit within the Office of the Attorney General and involves all phases of litigation, from case analysis through trial preparation and courtroom representation.
Key Qualifications
- License to practice law in Indiana
- At least two years of prior litigation experience preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of state and federal rules of procedure and legal research/writing
- Ability to manage high caseload and multiple assignments
- Familiarity with data privacy and data security law preferred
